One of the 2 fuel senders on my 03 Z4 has been bad for about a year now. I have never gotten round to changing it due to how ridiculously expensive the quote was, caused by the fact that you have to buy the whole fuel pump/sender unit as a combined item and then have the tank dropped to change it.

In later versions (not sure of the exact date) the latch was removed. I have the same issue and when possible just push the roof down and the latch connects. bladeowner.

My '06 Z4 3.0i now has a top that does not open, at 30,500 mi. Dealer inspected and said in the invoice: "Customer states the top will not close. Hi Mike I'd seen this youtube link but is another mis-describing how to get the module out if you have a pre-facelift e85.
