3 days ago · The Karlstejn Castle is worth visiting if you’re looking for a Czech castle near Prague. This magnificent castle was first built in the 13th century and is located in a hilly area. Several legends are linked with the castle, such as the prohibition of women from entering the castle.

Lived there for almost two years, stopped by the castle once before moving back home and honestly, it’s gorgeous. But so is the rest of Prague and it’s not worth spending too much time there at the castle. I agree that Vysehrad is worth walking around or even just climbing to the top of Petrin tower for the best view of the city.
